Was 2011 mit gerade mal zwei Handvoll Land Rover-Enthusiasten aus Singapur, Malaysia, Indonesien, Australien und den Philippinen seinen Anfang nahm, wurde im Laufe der Jahre zu einer bis heute ständig wachsenden Familie von ROVERNUTS, wie sie sich selbst nennen. Um gemeinsam ihr Hobby zu feiern und Erfahrungen auszutauschen, treffen sich die Familienmitglieder jährlich für drei bis vier Tage zum großen Land Rover-Festival in einem Gastgeberland, das sie im Jahr davor nach dem Rotationsprinzip festgelegt haben. So übernahm 2019 zum zweiten Mal Malaysia die Gastgeberrolle.
